New X-Men, Wolverine 2 movie gets a release date,filming location & more. According to a new report from Collider, 20th Century Fox's CEO Tom Rothman,hit up the 2012 CinemaCon event in Las Vegas,Nevada,and revealed the new plans they have in store for the upcoming X-Men: Wolverine sequel. He said, James Mangold will direct it,and they are scheduled to start filming it later on this year after main star Hugh Jackman wraps up his Les Miserables movie filming with Catwoman starlet Anne Hathaway. The filming will also take place in Australia,and they'll be serving up a much harder version of Wolverine. Also,despite the natural disaster issues that went down in Japan,filming will also take place there as well. Rothman gave a little teaser about the plot,stating, "This is a pretty original take. It’s based on a very successful run in the comics, but it’s a true Wolverine movie, I mean this is the true berserker, bad ass Wolverine." So,it sounds like they're going to reboot the thing. Last,but definitely not least,they already have a release date,set for this flick.
